I have a 1994 ford ranger 4wd w/3.0.Few months ago it was running rough, took it to a shop and they replaced #2 injector. It fixed the problem of running rough, however, since then its had a problem starting. In the morning it will start right up.When I drive for a while if I turn it off,it will start right up again no problem, but if I let it sit for about an hour to 5 hours, I have to crank it a couple of times to get it to start and when it starts it runs rough for a couple of seconds and sometimes you can smell gas like its flooded.Took it back to the same mechanic, replaced fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump relay, ecc relay, checked and reset timing to no avail. He says he has no idea.
Please help
Thanks
Tom

Get it to the point where it will exhibit the symptom.

Shut it off while it's running badly.

Pull the spark plugs (all of 'em).

The sooty/wet one will have a dripping injector. If you remove the injectors, that same injector will have a very clean tip. The non-leaking injectors will have dirty tips.

Thanks, works great now
