My wife and I just bought a 2005 chrysler town and country. We had a soaking wet carpet on the front passenger side of the van only. We had not run through any rain the first time it happened. I immediatly thought the air conditioner condensation must be dripping inside the van. Then my wife talked to another woman who has a 2003 chrysler van similar to ours and she said hers does the same thing. Do you know or have you heard of this happening to others is it common with these vans and what can be done about it.I would really appreciate an answer if you have one. Thanks

What you need to do is access the evaporator drain (on a lift) and smear some silicone gasket around the drain tube where it exits the bulkhead. - the water is running back into the van because the hole the plastic drain tube passes through is larger than the tube (see photo below). That's common on Chrysler products.

Thanks for the helpful information about how to fix this water problem. I did what you said and it fixed the problem. Thanks again.
