I have a 2000 jeep grand cherokee laredo, 6 cylinder..My  electric fan is staying on all the time..my Father is a retired mechanic and hooked up a switch for me to manually turn the fan on and off...he is very stumped by this..we think it is an electical problem, but before I hand it over to an electrical tech, wanted to ask if you knew what it might be. He changed the heating module and the thermostat and it wasn't that...Would appreciate any help you can give us.

Thank you  Jen

Show your dad the attachment...

The cooling fan relay is solid state and is kind of hidden.  It'll be the problem, I imagine .. I know of these failing that way.
