I have a 2003 Ford Explorer with about 96000 miles on it, the other day i put in reverse and backed up about 120 feet and when i got up to about 20 mph it started bucking, I then drove to parking lot and tried this same routine and kept getting the same thing, Any idea to what may be the problem. I would really appreciate it thanks.

That's normal on some Fords - I had a 1995 Taurus that would do that - it's a strategy that is in place to prevent driver error that might cause the vehicle to go really fast (throwing you against the accelerator) and crash in reverse. Not all Fords have this strategy, and I'm not sure why. Some do... some don't. But that's what it is. For example, my friend's 1994 Taurus would do it and my 1995 would, but another friend's 1998 Taurus wouldn't.. Weird, eh?

Wow, that is weird. Thanks Richard, you just took a huge weight of worry off my shoulders, I thought I was about to have to spend a huge amount of cash on a transmission due to the fact my extended warranty just expired. Well once again thank you for your good words, I really do appreciate it, have a wonderful day.
